Has anyone had one of these fitted to their campervan/motorhomes of the none electric variety?
I have seen a few mobile vans fitted with them for passengers in the metro area and was wondering what would be the best type, undercarriage fittings considered ?????

This is what I fitted to our van instead of the original single step. You can get lighter and nicer ones now though.
Thanks for the Caravans Plus link too Jeff, it opened ok !

I think I got it from Prestige caravans in Geelong about 7 years ago. The newer ones are much lighter and aluminium. They also look better ill see if I can find a link for you.
Yes it is fitted to our current van.

Four rows down Vic, far right are the ones I have.
If doing it yourself try a van repairer/ wrecker for a secondhand unit. I found building a small portable step to fit into the van step well when traveling, serves a dual purpose of giving access to the van and a small step to get to those annex fittings without the need to drag out the ladder at times when all you need is a boost
PS mate turned his into a box to store things like his joggers so the animals wouldn't make off with them during the night, also handy for cleaning gear storage

Thanks Wombat,
I have a portable step that I use for getting into the side of the Transit, also use it for SWMBO to get into the passenger side as it is a bit high for her. Doesn't need it to get out as she slides out.

Thanks Jeff, looks pretty good, that is fitted to your caravan I assume (ie; not a previous RV)?
Where did you source your step from please?
Thanks Jeff, I couldn't get that above link to open so used the main part of the link to get this one, see yours as you have said;
