Good one John, I was over near the cow stalls about a month ago. Not sure why but it only cost me $1 for a 3 minute shower with hot water as well.

Left Sheba (Gayle's) place this morning at 8am and drove the 180 odd kms to St lawrence arriving at about 11am. There is a good rest area just before St Lawrence with a driver reviver location and lots of parking, toilets, seats and tables. It is supported by the St Lawrence council, Waverley Creek Rest Area Camps6 #90 well worth a stop and even though just a few kms before St Lawrence going north. Donation for coffee and biscuits.
This is the second time I have camped here, enjoying the place last time put it on the agenda for forthcoming trips. Was expecting to find it packed out but whilst there are many campers here it is far from full. I am camped between the wetlands and the toilet block and plan to be here for at least 4 nights fully set up for camping with everything except the shower tent, there are $2 coin operated showers here. Last time I put $2 in and got a cold shower when the hot water didn't function and will be hoping that doesn't repeat.
Will update this post over the next few days when hopefully interesting and exciting things happen. Have put the TV antenna up but not checked to see if it is receiving channels, will get to that soon, at least I do have Optus internet coverage. Loving it here really warm and sunny, wearing shorts for the first time in months and got the shirt off most of my previous Qld. tan has disappeared but not for long!!!
Make sure you put your $2 in the correct box John - same thing happened when we were there - Billeeeeeee got the cold shower!!!!!
St Lawrence is a great spot - I even had a game of bowls last time we were there! Met some great people as well.

Sorry John but you have left this wide open mate.
With a name like 'Studmobile' on your rig, it's a wonder you have time to wash at all.
Oooops, sorry all.

Without taking any credit from John (yeoeleven), he does have a very active and gifted publicity manager, billeeeeeee.
Now if billeeeeeee were to handle the GaryKelly package and Gary already having a leg into radio, lord knows what could become of Gary. Maybe if Gary's people could get together with billeeeeeee's people to sort it.

There'll be no handling of my package, John, and certainly not by Billeeee. Besides, I still don't have dentures so my dulcet tones ain't so dulcet at the mo.

Yikes! Has billeeeeeee, the icon of male freedom and last hope of subjugated men everywhere, finally been tamed? Is there nothing sacred to women?

Saturday and very little happened today, did get up and do my washing and in the sunny weather was dry by lunch time. Another excellent warm day went for a walk into St Lawrence to get the odd thing forgotten. Bumped into a traveller who I met up with at Stott's Reserve he had given me a whicker table to replace the one stolen at Forbes, it is residing at June's place on the patio whilst I replaced it from K Mart.
TV was a disaster yesterday absolutely no signal but after looking around and talking to other campers I decided that my antenna was set for vertical and the signal was horizontal so after rescrewing it on the other way round did receive 4 ATV, 5 DTV and 2 Radio channels. So I do have the option tonight of watching TV but lately I have been watching Weeds from my hard drive and must admit that I am enjoying the series more than anything available on free to air TV. Have plenty of power so I don't have any problems watching TV and charging up the laptop whilst the led lights are burning brightly.

Billeeeeeee willnever be tamed - he is a unique individual, and I wouldn't want him any other way!!!
Sunday and a quiet one at that, nothing interesting today other than I was talking to another camper who was heading for Townsville and has decided to take over a week to get there. Apparently there is a Super V8 championship on in Townsville over next weekend and she was concerned about camping with an expected influx of visitors. I was thinking of driving to Guthalungra on Tuesday and on to Townsville on Wednesday but now am considering 3 days at Carmilla Beach and 2 at Boulder Creek before driving to Townsville via Guthalungra overnight. Decisions decisions what to do???? John
