Any travellers that are coming to Cunnamulla.(if not you should) An oasis in the desert almost.
The Warrego River caravan park is fantastic, we came for 1 night and have now decided to stay 3 or more not sure yet as the days are gorgeous and sunny.
Judy is so very welcoming (and hard working) is a pleasure to enter her park!!!!!!
The campfire is lit at 5 each night by John and most come down by the river for a chat and to keep warm.
A suggestion tho if you want to come and stay you MUST book.....07 46550097 We have seen so many vans turned away , it is a small park with lawn for each van, rose bushes all around the park that you are very welcome to pick, Herbs for all to use, The bathrooms are immaculate and large!!!
No i am not on the payroll just 2 happy campers wanting to share our lovely experience.

Hi John, You can book a couple of days or a month or before hand which is advisable, as when we were there they were turning many vans away as there were no powered
sites left, but plenty of unpowered. Here is their web site and a couple photos as well.
I actually phoned them a couple of days back to check prices - thought very reasonable and the lady I spoke to was very helpful. We intend to stay there probably during August/September - will definitely book ahead now as it appears to be very popular.

tourist information centre/museum is worth a visit. Very interesting info about the great artesian basin

I just saw this post on Cunnamulla - We went out there a few years ago and it is certainly a wonderful place to see and stay at. I agree with Jenny and Barry that the tourist info centre/museum is great to see. We were there when the Masters Sports were on. Another great spot to see is the weir on the beautiful Warrego River - a place to 'must see'.
