I'm all packed and heading off south tomorrow. Planning via Kingaroy, Dalby,.Moonie, St George, Lightening Ridge, Gilgandra, then what ever comes after that.
So far stayingTuesday and Wednesday night at Kumbia, catching up with John on his way north.Would also like to check in on Dawa further down. She hasnt been on here for a while

If staying at Kumbia, a must is something from the butcher... We were there earlier this year, and the meat was absolutely fabulous, the most delicious and tenderest meat we have had, A great small town butcher..... Wishing you a great trip...

Stay safe HW and keep in touch so someone knows where you are. Could be cold overnight in some of those places.

Thanks Sheba, will give you a call from somewhere down there. Thanks NeilnRuth, will go into a few powered sites so I can have heat on. Lynjeff, I havent bought from that butcher, but a great story when I was there last year. He lent his car to a couple whose bus had broken down to take parts into Kingaroy. The parts were sent to Brisbane to be repaired. They were there for a week, then he lent them the car again to go pick parts up. Must be a great guy. I will go in and see what to buy.
