If you're looking to buy it's a good place to browse. One year when we went we won the prize drawn from the coupons everyone put into the barrel at entrance. The prize was 7 days free at a caravan park in Swan Hill. We had a cabin there & they allowed us to park our old (then) caravan down along the back fence. For this privilege they charged us so much a day. We weren't too rapt in the caravan park & left after 5 days.

Do you really think that that's a bad thing in this day and age ? Or are you having us on ?

We went on the Wednesday. We seemed to walk for miles and still didn't see it all. We were disappointed in the quality of some of the vans we looked at - broken drawers, cupboard doors not fitted properly, lack of accessible storage for food. We were really impressed with Qld rail - we thought we missed the train at Alderley (we were still on the overpass when the train pulled in) but the driver waited for us. There was a special service right to the show which impressed us after the fiasco getting to the Sydney show.

We went to the Caravan show on Wednesday. Arrived early and left 6pm. Long day, but was good. Brother in law bought a van.

Probably the reason they do not want imported vans there
Wouldn't want to show up the poor quality Aussie built units, would we?

wanted to go but thought better of it. Cost being the main turnoff. $18 each entry, $12 parking and petrol to get there. Over $60 to shop. Decided we know which brands we like and will go to their business when ready.
Anyone going over the weekend?
Hubby seems a bit wary about taking me.
Seems he is scared over the tantrum I WILL throw
if he doesn't me me the new caravan I want
