I want to get 3 CD's that seem to be only available from OS. I have tried iTunes but with no success. I have checked the link provided to me by someone and it is in the States. I have also found the 3 CD's on Amazon.
My question is, has anybody done this or used Amazon and how safe is it as I have to give my credit card details. I was hoping I could use Pay Pal but seems not.
PM me if you prefer.

Doug I've bought many things from Amazon by credit card without any problems and usually it has cost me less than if I had bought the items here, one of them being my Kindle, not sure how the exchange rate is at the moment but it shouldn't be too bad. Hope this helps

When we buy over the internet and can't use paypal we use a debit card and only give those details.

We've bought 200hp Mariner outboard parts from somewhere in Texas. Service was excellent and prices less than half of what they are here. Paypal was the method of payment from memory.

Thankyou all for your responses and the info about Australia Post credit cards, I was unaware of those and will keep them in mind for future reference.
I made some quiet time for myself and did some more investigating on iTunes and found the music was available so I am listening to it as I type this. All downloaded into my account and on my iPad now and I will put on my iPod later.
One happy camper here.
Thankyou again and,

Hi Doug glad you got it sorted. With your music from itunes you need to activate 'The Cloud' so that your music, pics etc automatically download to your ipod, iphone etc, makes it much easier

Doug I bought a rear end tent from a US company with delivery to my front door by courier by using Master Card, when you made the purchase it was automatically converted from US dollars to Australian dollars for the purchase.
Went off without a hitch and good delivery....

I use Paypal without any worries. PayPal provides a barrier between the vendor and purchaser's credit card or banking details and has a protection policy up to $20,000.
Amazon is one of the world's largest on-line retailers and any credit card transaction would be safe. The credit card details are encrypted and the whole transaction is electronic without any human intervention or anyone being able to see your details.

For your future use mate.
You do not need to be a member of PayPal to use it, you just put your CC details into PayPal as a once off transaction and they pay the seller.
PayPal is safe as houses.

Just wanted to add I pay for my overseas and other purchases by MasterCard, I bank with Bendigo Bank and as part of that I have an Authentication Key Device which looks like a car remote. So as well as using the usual id and password when making a transaction, you also have to use an Authentication Key Number which is shown by this device by pressing a button. These are scrambled numbers and you never get the same number twice, and the transaction will not be processed without it.
So even if your account is hacked, nobody can access your funds without having this device which is in your possession. I have never had a problem with it.

I have heard of that device before I think Vic, good idea by the sounds of it. I am with Westpac and will be in a branch in a few days so will make enquiries if they have something similar.
I might even ring my mastercard supplier and see if they do anything similar as well, I don't have a bank credit card and do not pay any fees.
I must say though I like the idea of the Aust Post Visa thing, I am going to check those out too.

My MasterCard is a Debit Card Doug (using my own savings) the scrambled number device is supplied by Bendigo for a small fee (was $16) I don't know what kind of battery is in it, I've been using mine for about 3 or 4 years and it is still going strong......
