Hi all, after all this talk about dutch ovens and bread makers, an idea popped into my head! I would like to propose a cooking competition/event/get together in July for Grey Nomads somewhere in Qld (to be nominated by popular choice).
We could do:- Best Casserole, best camp oven meal, Best meal in a Mug, best dessert, etc. etc. and at the end have a festive feast, something like Christmas in July. We could also get some sponsors involved to rustle up some RV gear as prizes. We will need to hold it where there's space for a large group, water and power etc.
Let me know what you think!

Another idea is an "online" Camp Oven Cook Off.
Where entrants photograph the ingredients and sequence of cooking to the end product.
I often take pictures of my camp oven cooking such as this Beef Chilli:.
Just a suggestion!

Hello David, nice pics, very good clarity - what kind of fuel does the Volcano use in the photos? How does it work?

Thanks Jennifer,
I use Photobucket for posting in internet Forums.
The Volcano uses wood, lump charcoal or Heatbeads.
It can be used as a simple barbecue or for cooking with a camp oven.
A propane attachment is available but it is not approved for sale in Australia.
The model shown in my cooking is the original Senior, a Collapsible model is now available which I have also. See:

Thanks for that David, looks very handy when there's no bbq around.
