I was asked in the General Forum how many people I have met well I thought I might just pop it in here as well.
In my not even two years on this great forum I have had the great pleasure of meeting 71 members and every single one of you have been great, I have said to a lot of people when we chat, what you see on the forum is what you get in real life. When I do finally meet someone I have always felt I have known them for years.
Thankyou every one you for great friendships I have formed through this forum. I actually refer to this forum to my outside friends that I belong to a grey nomad club and we have our own forum. I hope you don't mind that Cindy.
Speaking of Cindy, a very big thankyou again to you and your team, without you none of this would have ever happened.

Only Kidding Mate ? I still remember the first time we met up, The conversation just flowed, and it was as if we were old time friends that were just catching up again ? Sitting in the sunshine at the Queenscliffe Marina, at our favourite cafe, and I remember what we all ate as well, ?? Renata and I had The open Prawn and Salad sandwich, , and you thought it was a fantastic meal for the money so you had the same, Mate that was a great afternoon, Good weather, Good conversation, Good location, and good food,. we Must do it again soon. As you say What you hear and see, on the forum.is what you get, and so many people speak well of you Doug, so what they get cannot be to bad Eh !!
Anyway you keep meeting all those other members out there until you find one who likes you, May I suggest that out of the 5590 members SAVE WOMBAT TILL LAST ?? tHAT WAY YOU CAN STILL SAY EVERYONE ELSE YOU MEET IS TERRIFIC.??
PS if your out there womby, Get your A-rse back on line ?? and do battle, It's getting hard to pick a fight on here lately..

Anyway, Dougwe....its a world with no strangers, just friends that you have yet to meet apparently.....and in this regard, you are much further progressed than a lot of us, I expect.

I've just counted up, and I've met 31 + 1 members. Some I've only met briefly, and some I've had a good old chin wag with. A few have become very good friends. The +1 I was already friends with since we were 7 years old!
The most recent meet was with Dougwe when we spent the night together. No no no, not like that! Sorry to embarrass you Doug. We parked our vans near each other when we free camped at Gil Weir. We chatted until it became too cold to be outdoors. When I woke in the morning he was gone! You must have been very quiet Doug, I didn't even hear you leave!
Oh, and nice to see you back Wombat.
