She died with alzheimer's. It seems so many years since I read an article about her, and her daughters looking after her, in the Womens Weekly. None of them deserved this. RIP Hazel.

Heard Hazel described on Jon Faines programme as a decent,caring, and loyal person. One could hardly apply those adjectives to her ex methinks?????

Is this thread about honoring Hazel or criticizing Bob? They were married 40 years and she bore his children. She didn't leave him so she must have thought he was okay. Anyway, comparing the two is not the point. Hazel stood on her own two feet and became a great Australian through her own efforts.

a good lady and obviously Bob shared a big part in her life, just annoys me when all the media coverage showed them two together.
