Place first sheet of pastry in a greased or paper lined quiche dish. Cover the base with onion & bacon.
Crack each egg ( without breaking yolk ) spaning the entire base.
Season with salt and pepper, before topping with final sheet of pastry.
Using a fork, seal the edges and trim excess pastry.
Piece the lid 4 times and bake in a 200c oven for around 25mins.

I used to make this egg and bacon pie but I think it had a special name. It's so simple but yummy.

Just found one on the net which adds peas after the onion and bacon. That would make it even more of a meal. I'd use shortcrust pastry to cut down on the fat a bit.

I have or should i say my wife has used dried tomatoes in this also.And other thing to put in is a little bite of curry powder...
