Thanks for that Jon, the holes certainly look the same, just glad none wer flying around at the time, wouldn't want to be mistaken for a female of the species, they sound like randy little beggars. The rest stop was between Broken Hill and Cobar about May/June.....
These holes were everywhere! Never did find out what made them!

No, but I was very careful to use a torch at night when I went outside, does anyone know what they are?
Maybe spiders.
Could be Beth, I didn't see any ants coming in or out of them or nearby, they were everywhere, if they were spiders they were dam big !!!
