A few of us meeting up at the subject caravan park on the dates shown. A description of the park and photo's can be viewed in recommendations caravan parks thread in the GN forum.
Powered sites are $26 for two people and $10 a head for non powered, well equipped campers kitchen has power for laptops or mobile phones etc if power not wanted. A public dump point is also close to the park.
URGENT PLEASE NOTE: This is a very popular c/p with limited power sites (plenty of unpowered sites available) and is filling rapidly, so if you do want to go and want power book with the Caretaker Janet on mobile 0448 324 011 ASAP.
You may want to book earlier or later also besides the given dates if you wish to stay longer. It is your responsibility to make or cancel a booking with the park. Please note also that you attendance is at your own risk and liability as this is not an official club or forum organised event.

Working on this one, Vic. Have taken my CT off the market after getting only two inquiries in two months and am having the top replaced with a much smaller (and single-person friendly) set-up. Should get it back this coming week. Will be keen to take it for a trial run. Had planned on the Golden Quest circuit north of Kalgoorlie, but Beverley may well fit into the picture. Will have a look at dates, etc and advise.
Cheers, Tony

Be great if you can make it Tony, powered sites are limited but plenty of non powered sites and a well equipped campers kitchen. If you want power it is better to book if you think you may make it, can always cancel out later if your can't, but let them know if you do to uphold our GN reputation!
A visit to one of the pubs in town for a feed is looking attractive too for those who want to, has new owners and one of the locals told me the new chef makes a pretty good meal! Hopefully if it is cold they will have a good fire going!

Be great to have you both there Bob, glad the Managing Director gave you your driving orders!!
By the way, when I was there a month or so ago they had one bay you could drive up onto instead of having to back your van, it had a slight slope as you came onto it from another lower level. If your worried about the length of your van (will fit on others, just means you have to back it) contact the caretaker again and ask if you can book that site......
Sounds like we will have a good turn up!

No worries, Vic, spent a few years looking up a bulldogs' bum, so no problems reversing!! If you saw where we park our "block of flats" at home, you will know why tight spaces are no bother, but thanks for your concern. Bob

Wish I could say the same Bob, but I'm bloody hopeless!
They have some sites on the second level where you can come in on the flat, 3 powered, just behind the campers kitchen.
To the rear of that in a large gravel area they also have a dump point.

Might have to sneak in first or could be the days entertainment.

Yours will be fine Cathy for your size van, big wide bays and frontal room, if nobody is opposite you even more.
If I'm there and you need guiding sing out, unless you have someone with you to help....
Looking forward to the pub meal you just reminded me to look the pub up.
This is the one recommended by one of the locals, new owners and great chef;
Something else to have a look at for anyone passing through or staying at Beverley next week is Gwambygine Park. It's on the road from Beverley to York the Great Southern Hwy. Gas BBQ's picnic tables, toilets, Viewing tower over the Avon River with some lovely walks.

Lovely spot, also a good rest area outside the main gate.
Hint: If going to the loo there take a can of mozzie spray in with you, the mozzies congregate there for the flush toilet water when someone leaves the seat down.......nice flush toilets though! Just watch your bare bum !

That's great Owen and Glenda, the weather forecast is good for around that time so lets hope it stays that way, but hey, a fire down the pub sounds good too! (can walk through from the c/park).
Look forward to catching up again!!
Barrie, If your in the York area, you're only 30 kms down the road even just for a day visit. If you are going to visit let me know and I'll pm you my mobile number.....
PS: For those that want it, there is also a free dump point behind the caravan park for anyone to use.....

Yes Jean, still working on it....Wow! Didn't know you were selling up! Are you buying again or going to live on the road? Pity you are a bit far away for a day visit. Tell Alex I was in Beverley in about 4 weeks ago and there was a carpenter living in his caravan there while doing a job in Beverley, apparently plenty of work for chippies around country towns, he was working on a home made out of that plastic type weatherboard.
You both will be missed Jean, hope the plans all come together!

Hi Guys, unfortunately we will not be able to attend this get-together as the van is being prepared for a trip to the Pilbara shortly.
Please enjoy yourselves (as if you wouldn't ha ha) and drive safely there AND home again.
I hope the weather is kind to you, I think WA has had it's quota of rain for this month.

Ummmmmmmm.......years ago, smart arse here (me not you) had just bought his brand new A'liner camper trailer home from the dealer, SWMBO at work, but Mr impatient wanted to back it under the carport, drive slopes down slightly. Fairly tight between the brick pillars, so maybe not back it down without more experience or co-pilot watching....
Not a problem ! Will unhitch on the flat and using the hand brake slowly ease it down the driveway
Van took off with me trying to push the handbrake on, van swung sideways and the A frame hit my leg and bowled me over (needed medical attention later), rear of van hit one of the brick pillars damaging the rear corner of the van and crushing the gutter downpipe before it came to rest!
Bear in mind this Is my brand new van. Able to have all fixed except my pride/ego
