Yes, what a shame, I didn't know until today that she has had MS for years too. Grew up listening to her music.

She did hope that the song would promote breast self examination. Still, if a woman has expert help on tap she can avail herself of it makes sense to outsource the daily examinations.
Only the good die young (another of her songs). It took two nasty bullets apparently, breast cancer and multiple sclerosis. But only one of those has any sensationalism value for the feckless media. A Current Affair and similar will be onto it. No sense in allowing her some dignity in death.

We've just finished watching a re-run of Spicks & Specs on ABC2 and Chrissy Amphlett was one of the guests - the show was dedicated to her. Very sad, 53 is too young, R.I.P. Chrissy.

There was another son called - "I go to sleep" - bought a tear to my eye every time - poignant lyrics! Not only a great performer, but a highly intelligent person into the bargain.

+1 Jules...having been fortunate enough to work with her in the '80s, I will always consider CA to have been both intelligent and engaging. Hardworking, honest and talented also spring to mind.
Long may she RIP and may her conviction inspire others long beyond the present.

She was so young when she started out - I think she was only in her teens (16 or so) when she took off for the UK to further her career - had a great sense of humour.
