I is here. I know where I am at all times FH. Thankyou for your concern. My Avan is parked up in my daughters backyard as I type this and will be for about a month then I am considering heading down to South Australia and visit the coast, I know it will be chilly but I will keep warm somehow and that I tell you for free.
Keep an eye out in "General" for my weekly update that might an appearance Sunday sometime.
I am also hoping to leave Me and Myself behind when I finally leave Townsville, they are in the way and a real pain.
Have fun on your travels FH, probably see you at some stage somewhere sometime but in the mean time,
Edit, I noticed reference to a Ford Ranger in your Signature, I have a Ford Ranger in my dreams as I will have one one day when I grow up. I often wonder though how they taravel around round abouts as I negotiate them a lot. I know they would be great amongst the bush though and that's where it patters, one day.

Trying to find Dougwe and little AVan is like looking for Wally. Wonder where he is. I hope he has not fallen down a Wombat Hole.

Sorry Jules I misread your comment, there was no question, I thought you asked if I was effected by rain.

No worries - I understood what you said - just you said the other day her backyard was flooded - so lucky for you it has gone by now, I presume?

Yes Jules the water has gone but still very soggy, the sun in-law and I pushed the Avan into place but I will have to re-adjust levels etc for a couple of days though as things around a lot of this area are very soggy indeed.

Howdy Rod and Heather, Gene is locked away in the back of the Prado and may never see the light of day again, she has been no trouble though unlike the other two trouble makers.

Hi Doug
Right now i am wishing I was in Townsville. Am currently in Denmark WA waiting for parts to come for repairs to the truck. I am beginning to think, no matter how much money I pour into this hole, it never seems to fill up, what with one thing an another. Guess that's "life on the road". Hopefully everything will go smoothly from here on.
Didn't realize it had been so wet up there. Hope you are managing to stay dry.
Cheers!
Chris

Hi Chris,
Things are starting to dry out around the house now, thank goodness but I am not coping well with the humidity though, so much so I am going to change my plans and leave here next week. I have never noticed the humidity so bad as this time. One good thing about being in the playground you can change things as you go and I have made a few changes as I came up here so another one isn't going to matter. I have plenty of time but I feel if I stay I might not have that time.
Have fun over there in WA and keep your eyes open for wombat holes or traps there is one on the loose.
I sure hope your Winnie is out of dry doc sooner that soon and trouble free for the rest of your trip.
