Just thinking of you two today JC as to where you might be, now I know.
My arrival in Townsville is this Saturday now but Localised floods due to heavy rain last night between here, Longreach and Townsville might slow me down a bit now. Thank goodness I got ahead of myself and allowed an extra fews days to get there, I might need them, must be there by 19/4. Daughters back yard under water, not good for my big rig.

And ???? If we all come and join you at ''the office'' it would become to crowded, then you would not like it any more ?? So in reality I am doing you a favour
My turn is coming, !! and one day you will put a post up like this, ??? and Then you better have a beer waiting for me when i turn up for a visit, !

We stayed on the Gwydir for about 10 days in 2008,, it was great.
A funny thing happened,,,, hardly seen anyone,,,,,,, hardly a ghost was stirring,,, the breeze was wispering,, get the picture!!!!!!
A local official and his wife popped out of the bush early Sun morning walking their small dog. The dog ran straight over to my fishing rod,,, on lovely couch grass at waters edge,, barely 5 metres from the van and did a CR**... We weren't phased but the locals were so embarrassed,,,, it was so funny.
It all happened in about 15 seconds and we exchanged pleasantries, cleaned up and they were gone in about 3 minutes, so embarrassed.

I looked at the pics and immediately 'knew' it was Nth NSW....how, well because I live 'here'.
What a beautiful spot you found and nice pics to capture it.
Meanwhile, I've got to say, thats a LOT of solar array/power takeup! No probs with the lights/fridge then (?).....

While ever the sun shines we are self sufficent for power, lately the batteries are recharged by mid morning so no complaints.
Are you living near by as we are here for a few more days.
