I was just given the news that Alan41 has passed away.
Although not a member of this forum that I am aware of (I haven't checked the membership list) he was an active member on a couple of other forums and was a moderator on one of them.
Alan had given me lots of tips in the past, both on forums, by pm and email. I think I passed on some photo's at one time to Yeoeleven of a Coaster he had converted. His username always reminded me we were both born in 1941.
RIP Alan.

Every day is precious, right? My oldest bro is 14 years older than I am. He said when I turn 80, he'll give me a bell to wish me happy birthday. Hehe. Anyway, like they say, make the most of it while ya got it.

Yes very sad Chris and unexpected. Jayco Gypsy let me know about it, otherwise I wouldn't have been aware it had happened. I don't know the finer details, I didn't even know he was ill.
Gary, you are going to live to a very ripe old age, only the good die young !

Alan had a heart attack. He was always good value on the websites, ready with joke or imparting wisdom. He will be missed.

Sad news indeed .
He put up a good fight for a couple of weeks , but eventually lost the battle .
