Hi Vincent (SIL) - Tassy is a great place - thought you had to pay at that spot to camp overnight????
Heaps of places to stay free in Tassy - Penguin, Cooee Point, Stanley (Godfreys Beach) and the list goes on!
Have a geat time - lovely people over there!!

What a great way to begin your tour of Tassie... the camp site, I mean, not the boat hehe. I hope it's calm weather when I take the ferry across. Can't handle any of that rocking business.

Gday After touring western Vic and Nsw I was getting a little sick of all the flat spots, then Mt Hope came on the scene, great camp spot good pub and great counter meal and best of all I felt like I was home looking out at the hills around here. Monster roos also, bit scary to tackle one of those even with the Patrol.
Another thing I miss re Tassie is not having to change gears, gets a bit boring when you dont have to change up and down all the time but I guess that will change later on.
Fuel prices not much different away from major cities and I dont miss the cold weather of Tassie, love this shorts and T shirts.
