Has anyone seen two lovely lady cyclists traveling Tasmania. The ladies are both retired and are members of our U3A group in Salamander Bay NSW.
They left Port Stephens by car to catch the ferry. Taking their bikes and some camping gear for the occasional camp out, they intend to take it easy riding around the apple isle.
If anyone comes across them, say hi, I'm sure they would appreciate it. And if there is contact could you please post it.
Thanks
Helen

Yes I agree,
One lady traveled Europe on her bike but I think its not the same here. Much more dangerous on our roads, thats why I'm interested in hearing how they are going.
Hey Jules, I have a little yellow tag on my 'to all tassie travelers' question, do you know what its for ??

I wouldn't mind traveling Tassie myself, maybe next year!

Eureka, that tag is only visible to you, it tells you that you started this thread.

Tassy is wonderful - even with the windy, narrow, hilly roads!!! Read Yeoeleven's blog - access from any of his posts - he was in Tassy with us for 3 months - we had four. Friendly people, free camps galore, scenery to die for - beaches are gorgeous. But go in the summer (before the peak season the fare is cheaper)
Hope your friends enjoy it - we met a guy cycling and he reckons it is one of the hardest trips he has done!
