A terrific camp in beautiful South Gippsland Victoria ...called Shallow Inlet Foreshore Camping Reserve,it has a mixture of45 seasonal and 20 short term sites.Sites are all very generouse in size. Surrounded by Manor Gums,Banksias, tea tree and grass tree.Exceptionally well run by a committee of management and volunteers,It is also dog friendly
The foreshore is only meters away .There are water taps positioned through out the camp, supplied by rainwater tanks. We have camped through out OZ and have never found toilets as clean as these ones. There is also a dump point unit in park for campers needs. Camp is about 10k n/w of the enterence to Wilsons Prom. When we were there is was $10 per night.

There are a dozen free camps along the 90 mile beach east of Seaspray if you're heading that way. Been many years since I've been there so no idea if there are dunnies etc.

I agree Herbie. We stayed at Shallow Inlet in November '12, and thought it a great spot. It was an easy drive to the Prom from there, and cheaper than staying at Tidal.
