Was reading a review on a c/ park in Adelaide they are charging $3 per day per dog to stay Besides what you would have to pay for a site.So takes it up around $40 per day.

I got that sort of treatment once a few years back, the CP I had pulled into advertised itself as being dog friendly too, so I asked them how much extra do they charge for children (in own motorhome) 'oh that is different, nothing' well I said my dogs are my kids and they are agood deal better behaved than some of the kids you get here I'll bet but since you are sop prejudiced I think my boys and I will move on down the road......(we did too, found a lovely bush camp and some nice people to share the happy hour with)

I would rather be parked up next to some one that has any sort of animial than some one with with screaming kids, and a yelling mother or father These type of people think they are on their well earned holiday ,so all nicesties are left at home.Had some real shockers over our time on the road. Give me a free camp any day, they dont appear to stay at these places. The is probably one of the top 10 reasons we are not caravan park advocates.

We camped at Riverwood Downs, Monkerai a couple of weeks ago and were charged $4 per night for our dear old staffie - bit rough really.

Probably why there are always vans parked overnight along the foreshore at Semaphore. Mum lives on the esplanade and said she's never yet seen them moved on unless they are excessively rowdy or messy. (she approves as she has done a lot of campervan travel herself)

Have booked into c/p in WA we have to pay per night for our dog(end up getting wife one to take away) Caravan Parks will end up hanging themselves, plus the Towns will suffer,if they cant accomodate my needs then I just by pass.

This type of a rip off from caravan parks is getting more common every day.
Next time they want x amount from you for owning a dog ,ask WHY ?
They probably will give you an answer that reflects Because We Can!!!.
Wonder if this $3 is per dog.
Regards Herbie.
