Bing Bong? Do they play table tennis there? Ping Pong in Bing Bong? Bim Bom Bay was a song sung by Jimmie Rodgers back in 1959. Actually, it was called Bimbombey. And I agree with Jillybeans, follow the sun (except when it gets too hot).
Sorry about all the edits, but I just thought of Ping Pong in Bing Bong with a sing song compered by Ding Dong (remember her?) with guest star King Kong.

Wouldn't it be nice in Bim Bom bay on a not so hot day, followed by 50 cent pints in Boraloola in the morning and an as**n ping pong shooter standing in a trailer working ping pong diplomacy..

Soon (hopefully) I'll be on the road to Bim Bom Bay. Anyone know where this place is?
What to do re:
Take my van?..................Boat is to big for up top. Take boat, leave van?.....Love fishing. Take only the car......Has bed in the rear. Main problem is money when towing long distances with van, little cheaper with boat.
Where to go?
I have a parachute..
A mate suggested Mackay Qld, any opinions here?

Hey Comebac- wilson........when in doubt take the parachute....If the boat sinks you can always float.....but I doubt you can fly.
North sounds good, ...follow the sun I say. Heading up that way in about a month myself as are many GN, not great weather now but surely it can't keep raining.....
Never heard of Bim Bom Bay......maybe Inda, won't make it with a broken gear box
Travel safe enjoy wherever you go......Kim

Depends - are you in a hurry - do you have to drive every day to get somewhere......... take the van & get an inflatable boat. Take the boat and sleep in the car -mmmm - get a smaller boat, find a friend with a boat, sleep in the boat.... such hard decisions when life is supposed to be fun. Trust your gut feeling I say

The next station is called "7 emus"! Another great place just up the road(220klms) is Lorrella Springs. Great place with a thermal pool right in the middle of the camp area. Will go back to that area myself. Bill

You're thinking of Roger Miller, Duh. He was in Bing Bong playing ping pong at the sing song with Ding Dong and King Kong when he made a phone call and got the ring wrong.

Bill Harney owned that one, just after World War 1, in the early '20's.
