Do a search on the Internet. Remember coming across some patterns once when I was searching for free baby Patterns. Sorry cannot remember the site.

Hi there, only saw a pattern book in S--tlight yesterday. They are put out by Craft Moods Publication and written by Vicki Moodie. Craft Moods PO Box 1096 Maleny Qld 4552 07 54999594 Here's basic pattern for beanie to get you started: Cast on 64sts work 14 rows in K1P1 rib Knit 24 rows or until 11cm from cast on edge. Shape crown as follows: Row 1 *K6, K2 tog repeat from * to end of row. 56sts Row 2 Knit Row 3 *K5 K2 tog repeat from * to end of row. 48sts Row 4 Knit Row 5 *K4 K2tog repeat from * to end of row. 40sts Row 6 Knit Continue decreasing in this manner until (K1,K2tog) has been completed and 16sts remain. Knit 1 row. Break yarn and thread through the remaining 16 sts. Make up: Sew the back seam ensuring that the fold-back of the brim is on the correct side.
If you buy one of her pattern books you will get some more variations. Knitted in8ply acrylic yarn using 3.75mm My little book also has patterns for jackets and dresses and booties. I made them up as a doll set. They are for dolls and Prem babies. Book costs $10.95 at S--tlight. Hope this helps

Hi Rocket, my boss could only find the attached beanie pattern and wondered if smaller needles would assist for premmies.
All the best
