Power is in the hands of about 0.05% of the population. It is they who sold of in Victoria the SEC,Board of Works,Gas & Fuel etc.etc. We all owned these Agencies at one time! The Feds offered the solar rebate which could be going soon. Let's run a power cord across Bass Strait from Tasmania's hydro schemes. Let's put the wind farms 1 klm out to sea. Yep,the bills are going up I agree. I wish there was some way to charge my LED torches. I'm wondering about those dynamo/gyros you had on your front bicycle tyre for the headlight. Can we fit these to car or caravan tyres?

yes you can whether they will work without wearing out the side of the tyre (softest part) is yet to be seen. But to be realistic they could be made to work but I think they only generated 6 volts and so only work for half the leds
