Thanks for that Santa. I hit enter after pasting the link (as instructed to members on other posts) but it didn't come up as a clickable link. Any hints?
Cheers Pete

Not really Pete, this site seems to have a mind of it's own at times.

What system are you using wasn me and Bucko ? Have you tried Wombats' method ? Maybe that would work for you.
I have Windows7 and using Google Chrome browser, where was Wombat's method stated.
Kevin.

I'm the same Kevin, windows7 & google chrome. I just use the computer the way it is. I don't alter any operating systems as I know very little (nothing) about it. I'm a nuts & bolts person, I like to see what's happening. I like to see the wheel going around.

Hi Pete,
I unfortunately have fiddled with the computer in the past and have had all sorts of problems, you know what they say about how dangerous a little bit of knowledge is, I had to get a program to fix everything, now I'm affraid to touch anything, when I try Sheba's method with the enter key after typing in the link, it does nothing, now I just copy and paste whatevery I need until someone can show me otherwise, that works.
Kevin.

I use XP. Don't like either Chrome [ I use IE ] or Windows 7. Will look for the relevant Post after I've finished looking at the Forum, and post it here .

Sheba.

I find if you just use quick reply you get http://mikenshez.blogspot.com.au/ when pressing enter after a link
however if you look at the bottom of the quick reply form and click advanced editor then type in your link and press enter you get http://mikenshez.blogspot.com.au/
If you have "Use advanced editor " checked in your User settings I assume that if would go to advanced editor initially so I am guessing those that it works for have that box checked.
cheers

Thanks to all who offered help. This post turned into a practical exercise in posting live links. I've learnt something, which is a good thing.

Just put "hobohome" into your search engine and the site should come up at the top of the list. The site has been around for a long timr and has a number of very good ideas and tales of their trials, tribulations and successes.

I found this site while looking around for some information. I thought others might find some interesting reading.
