Hi Woosy,
For me it's sit it out here in Burrum Heads Qld. So much rain on the radar heading this way from the Gladstone are. The rainfall figures are incredible .Just south of Rockhampton they report 495mm in the last 22 Hours. No wonder the Bruce Highway is closed.
The weather people reckon 100 to 200 mm expected and heading south to Brisbane as well. They expect 100 to 200mm there too.
I just feel for those who get flooded when you get this sort of rainfall.
You still get idiots though, an ABC video of some 14 Yr old being rescued after being washed away "Swimming in a creek" I ask you.

We had plans for a family picnic,,,which promptly went out the window when we found out it was going to be a very wet long weekend in SEQ.
Although I shouldn't complain, it's very nice to get the rain.
So it may be a BBQ on the deck at my sons place near the Brisbane River.
Hi Lynda. Lee was asking about you on my weekend at their place. I said I thought you were still in Canberra. They send their regards.

We had a very good Australia Day here on the South Coast as a member of our local Vintage and Classic Car Club took our 57 FE down to Mollymook Beach for a club display. Had a great day fish and chips on the beach and heaps of people about then the eldest daughter her husband and our Grandson came and visited as well, it does not get any better. As I write though it's trying to rain lets hope it does as it is very dry.

I had a great day at a mates place with 4 other familys and kids having a splash in the pool. It was very hot and muggy about 30c. We had a whole pig on a spit and 2 legs of lamb PLUS, plenty of cold beer. Talked a lot of rubbish and told a few lies and had a great day. Hope every one else did too....Sarg.
