I used CIL for my insurance after doing research on price and bang for your buck. I think the CMCA might offer insurance too. not sure about any of the others

I do everything through my health fund, only one company to deal with then. It gets paid directly from my bank monthly at no extra charge, too easy. Works well for me.

When I bought the Goldstream I phoned my insurance company and arranged insurance before it left the vendor's property.
I insure with APIA and the premiums are paid quarterly directly from my bank account similarly to Doug's. Monthly is available.

CMCA do offer insurance thru their Agent in Melbourne. You have to join CMCA but the cost is saved on the premium. Best quote I could find..

CMCA was the best quote when we purchased our motorhome

I must say upfront I belong to the CMCA and paid the joining fee of $60. I get a monthly magazine which I find enjoyable to peruse and $60 for the magazine alone would be a good buy. $40 annual renewal.
It also means that you can use their insurers who are Ken Tame. I found that what you get for your money is up there with the best you can get.
Worth checking out,the more quotes you have the better deal you can find.
Hope you find good cover.
Regards
Trevor.
I have no affiliation with Ken Tame or the CMCA apart from being a member.

I'm with Ken Tame too. Their premiums are comparable with the other companies but I've found their service to be really good. Last year I lost my awning in a storm. I went to the Jayco dealer in Bairnsdale to get a new one. In the CP I checked into (to wait) were 2 caravans waiting for exactly the same thing (last year was a bad year for awnings). I had my insurance claim approved (within 24 hours) and the awning ordered and fitted while all the others were still waiting for their insurance companies.
