I must admit that I have been somewhat remiss in my attention to this "I Digress Section"

 I have noticed that Wombat has returned,and that Dougwe is still active but in rewiring mode.

 However the last time I heard of BG she was running naked around somewhere.

 She must have run so far that she has disappeared completely.

Does any one know her whereabouts, and if she is OK.?

I believe she became dis-enchanted with the comments of some other forumites, and decided to say goodbye.  Don't know for how long, or whether it's permanent.

Hi guys and gals of course.  Yes as Doug said I have had some personal issues to deal with which was the sudden decline in health and the death of my mum which personally I was quite unprepared for thinking mum would live forever.  It left me quite shattered and disillusioned with life in general.  There have been some beautiful people on this forum who have kept in contact with me and you three know who you are and it has kept me going.

Mum died in early December right before my birthday and I have been moping, crying, daydreaming about the what ifs etc since then.  But I do have to get a hold of myself and get my act together.  So I gave myself a good shaking and a stern self talk and here I am back on the forum.  Some days are fabulous and other days I wonder if I will get through them.  You see with Mums death came the end of an era for our family and it is hard to let that go.

I have met online here on the forum some absolutely wonderful people and if hubby ever decides to extract the digit we might get out there in the playground as Doug says to meet some of the awesome people on here.  I think after the trip to Sydney with the van he became gun shy lol and now he is not so keen to take the van out lol much to my disgust.

So I want to personally thank all of you for thinking of me and wondering where I had got to and I want to thank the other muskateers who kept in contact with me and Doug I really really appreciated your words of wisdom and utter kindness, it meant so much to me to read your email and you are the main reason I am back this soon my friend, thankyou.

So what trouble can we four get into now hey?

BG, Michelle, has had a personal issue to deal with, unrelated to the forum and has popped in and out on the odd occasion to add to the confusion of some post's. A couple of us here have been in regular contact with her and she is well.

As to the running around naked well, dazren threatened to take her pic and post it on the forum so BG and wombat shot through and decided as the world was ending on the 21/12/12 they would go underground. I am puzzled as to if this was together.   They found out the world didn't end so came out of hiding, wombat found his way back here but BG keeps getting lost.  Probably too busy running around naked I should think.

Keep safe Michelle, you will get through this mate, you do have friends here that can help. You know what I'm talking about.

Both my parents passed away sixteen years ago, my father only eleven days after my mother, and I still miss them and think of them every day, mostly the good times we had together. I have been able to move on with my life and at the same time still grieve the loss. You will never completely get over the loss of your mother and that's as it should be.

 I understand your sadness. I lost my mum 5 yrs ago after short undiagnosed illness. I cried and moped and was sad for ages but it does get better and I have lots of good memories and photos of our life together. I even took her on a road trip about 3mths before she died to Sydney, Queensland and back to Melbourne, to see her sisters and brothers. No idea it would be the last time she saw them all. Enjoy your memories and at all takes time.

Hello Michelle - lovely to have you back.  I am sorry to hear about your mother - I have that to "look forward" to as my ageing parents are not in good health.  I am told that things will get better and I hope this is true for you.

Thankyou Judy.  It does take time and yes when Mum was down here in July Aug and Sept she got sick whilst she was down here and she sort of never got better, and I blame myself even though I know in my head it wasn't me she still started the whole downhill slide while she was with me.

I do have lots of memories and pics of mum of course but I would give anything to hold her one more time and tell her I love her.

I would love to be out in the playground because it is so damn hot here in Inverell at the moment I need to be near some water I think and salt water at that so I can enjoy some fishing.

Think yourselves extremely lucky you didn't pop into Copeton Val as it is so super crowded out there at this time of year.  We were going to take the van out for a week but my daughter and her partner went out and came back as they said it was too hard to find a spot, and you are right it is soooooo hot here at the moment.  I am sitting right in front of the air con in the loungeroom most of the days and evenings lol.

Thanks Jim as long as it gets easier to cope with I can handle that.  I once told Mum that I would never be prepared to let her go and I never have been even now but I do know she is no longer is pain and that's a good thing.
