I did drive through Bushman's for a look last time I was there, so if I go again I'll keep that one in mind.
Not too sure if I will get that far east yet, playing it by ear, probably start at Denmark and work my way east, might even backtrack a little to Parry's beach, enjoyed that when I stayed there once fishing, other than losing my bathers much to the delight of some ladies when I was lifting a boat up
Glad your having a great time in Tassie and keep those excellent photo's rolling in!
Vic

Hi John,
I know you have some info on your blog regards the area East of Esperance, but in general what do you consider was the best free camping area or caravan park etc please.
I have been to Esperance on several occasions, but have never explored the eastern side further than Frenchman's Peak (another of John's athletic climbing feats).

Vic,
East of Esperance I only found Cape Le Grand, Lucky Bay and Thomas River all National Parks.
Whilst in Esperance I stayed at the Bushman's Holiday Village a good caravan park the lady proprietor did me a deal for $100 cash for a week's powered site.

Thomas River was a great place to camp. National Park, so some fees.
Thanks for the info Wendy, have just checked that one out on your info, sounds just great and would suit me, pensioner/seniors discount too.
Thanks John,
