Have used mine quite a bit, on the Trivet with double foil under - as per instructions.
Works well.
Also have the bigger one for my Family Q.

Hi Terry, Weber pizza is an easy and quick meal. What i learnt the hard way early in the cooking of them is never ever wash the stone! The stone must always be as dry and as hot as possible. Just a hint... i found at times it differcult to slide a prepared pizza onto the hot stone so after some trial and error now dust the underside with cornflour which makes the transfer much easier.I dont always use a stone at all but instead have purchased and use some unglassed plates i got from the Salvo shop. $2.00 for six!

I have tried cooking pizza directly on the stone and used polenta under the pizza.
Using the steel tray is easier.

Interesting, I thought the pizza went straight onto the stone but you actually put the pizza on the tray then the tray on the stone.
