Jokes aside, I do feel for you all. I suffer when it goes over 30, I don't know how I'd cope with over 40!

Just read a report released about 11pm yesterday that says a large part of Dunally , including the RSL club is gone , and
people are sheltering at the Dunally hotel .
Was going to give my mate a call at the pub , but if the phones are working , they will have far more important things to do
than talk to me right now .
We live in a fantastic country , but it can be very hard and unforgiving at times .

That's very sad news Sandsmere. Let's hope the pub stays safe for all to shelter in.

Just heard from my daughter that her brother-in-law in Dunally has lost his home and business. And friends are trapped at Primrose Sands. His family has also lost everything. I feel for them all.

It was just so sad to watch the news I think most of the buildings in Dunalley have gone, the pub was ok as it is on higher ground.

Itrs hard indeed, and after all the fires we've seen and heard about its still gut-wrenching. My thoughts are with them all, thankfully they are all still alive.

It seems we have a sad summer every year somewhere in Australia. My Mum has moved to a retirement home and she doesn't miss the fear she felt every summer when she lived in a bush area.
cheers Hans
