There were queries re. Powdered Eggs on another Forum this week. For any-one looking for them in the Rockhampton area, I found them today in Coles, [Aisle 11, right beside the normal Eggs.] at City Centre Plaza. Don't know yet if all Coles Stores have them, but will check tomorrow.
Hi Sheba I bought mine from Coles too mate. They were very handy on our last trip to use in cakes etc but I do think more uses can come from them then this. Have you tried them yet?

No actual Recipes on the Pack, but it says they can be used in any recipe requiring fresh eggs, including Cakes, Biscuits, Sponges, Pies, Quiches, Omelettes, Pasta, and Scrambled Eggs. It can also be used as a Protein Supplement in your favourite Smoothie or Health drink.
Found them today also in Coles at Keppel Bay Plaza in Yeppoon. Aisle 3, next to the Gravy Mix.
I haven't tried it yet.
Cheers,
Sheba.

Powdered eggs were used a lot in war-time, if you can find a really old recipe book theres probably some recipes FF. Are there any recipes on the container?

What a great idea. Beats opening the fridge and having the eggs fall out - lost a few last trip for some reason. Arethey also lighter being dried?

Ok, tell the truth, you have been waiting for someone to say it, so I will be the mug and that doesn't take much by the way.
How do you dry the chook out to get powdered eggs???????? That, is the question.
You would only be able to use it in cakes etc?????????? Can it be used for scrambled eggs as well and is it actually really made from eggs????

If you read my last Post Dougwe, you'll see a list of things you can use them in. The pack says the ingredients are whole egg Powder. Alternatively, whole egg solids.
I included the Website link, so you could ask them any questions yourselves.
Cheers,
Sheba.

Sorry Sheba, I must have missed that.
Could be handy while in the playground though.
