Teddington is in the St.Arnaud National Park . Free campsite , with flushing toilets .
No other facilities . Plenty of water in the resevoir , but power boats are not allowed
so out come the oars , and the arms get some exercise . Brown trout and Rainbow trout
have been released here , and there have been reports of some good catches .
It is a National Park , so pets are not allowed .
Very quiet , peaceful area . Lots of wildlife , wild flowers , and well off the beaten track .

Hope you catch a fish or three. Looked like a great spot when we called in there for a sticky.

Gday...
Thanks for reminding me (us) of Teddington sandsmere. It is a great place.
I have sent a PM to Cindy suggesting it perhaps is time to have this sub-forum further sub-divided into States - VIC, NSW, QLD, NT, SA, TAS, WA - so we can find posts on member's recommendations.
Posts on good camping spots are getting lost because there are so many and we don't usually scroll through page after page, or search, to see what is there.
It is is becoming cumbersome.
An example is Teddington Reservoir. I had posted this a long time ago - it is on page 7 of this sub-forum - too far back to anyone to now see it.

Cheers - John
Didn't realize you had posted that before John .
Maybe Cindy can merge the two posts .
And , yes , I reckon state divisions would make things easier to keep up with some of these good spots .
