Keep it up mate,

Whilst I do want to post about the camping locations I do not want to almost monopolize the Solo Forum so let me know if I am overdoing it and I will just post on the blog.
Left Penguin and headed off towards Cooee Point Reserve 3kms past Burnie Camps6 #237 and again a camp site for self contained vehicles, 3 out of 3 so far seems to be a lack of sites with toilets.
This is a pretty spot on the Point with good views of passing maritime vessels and a run down closed abattoir, perhaps a good thing that it was closed I am sure that in it's hey day the smell would have been all pervading.
We were invited to join in for a happy hour and that was going well until it started to rain, no awnings were extended because of the wind and my pop top was kept down. Very convenient for an easy walk into Burnie if the stay was extended beyond the 72 hours.
Stopped off in Burnie for provisions and Jules wanted a haircut but the parking for larger vehicles was very limited and we ended up parked at McDonalds. Half the carpark was council reserved and only the yellow marked spots were free as we found after paying to park. John

Speaking for myself I would say keep the posts and photos coming. It is nice to see where we might visit in the future and your photos say a thousand words as the old cliche says. The info is very handy too.Everyone has different tastes and likes and dislikes but knowledge is invaluable and it sure is nice to see some wonderful places even if we don't visit them ourselves.
Keep up the good work and thanks for the posts.
