What a shame she was so scared, I found it absolutely exhilarating when the whales came over and went under/around our boat! Their boat was pretty small though.

We had a similar experience with a whale off Apollo Bay in Victoria in a 14 foot tinny quite a few years ago. Not quite as close as those two, but I can understand the apprehension there. Fantastic video though and brought back memories. The Whale we saw wasn't a Humpback like in the vid, it looked similar to a Blue Whale but maybe 20M to 25M long. It was big, but I don't think as big as a full grown Blue, and came within 10M of the boat.
