Hopefully caught your attention
Been retired 8 - 10 weeks now ( I lose track of time is that normal?)
We had planned after our 6th grand child was born, we would do a little RENOVATION
around the house clear the decks and GO. I didn't read the fine print, we SOLD our campervan!!
and having a new one built ( 20ft Van Cruiser ) ready late Feb. As I now have a part time job
at the builders I'm able to keep an eye on it and make SMALL changes to it as we go along
MY lovely wife wants WINE glass holders put in a cupboard so we don't break them and to
keep the van neat what does everyone else use ? ( assuming people do have a tipple)
Hoping you can assist so I don't slow production down.
Regards Brian & Lana

I do one of two things, wrap a tea towel around each glass or use two stubbie holders per glass.
Only breakage was after tripping over when full......the glass ya critics! ha ha

They need to be rinsed out on a daily basis with either a good quality red or white.

Ours just sit on the shelf with the cups and other glasses. 3 years later and we still have the same glasses. I figure you can always buy another one at the next op shop for next to nothing. Mind you I seem to break coffee cups on a regular basis!!

I was wrapping mine in the non slip mat stuff but last Xmas my girls bought me a pewter wine glass and I love it.
I initially thought it would be not nice to sip from but it keeps the wine cold and I feel a tad posh.

Or you could try the polycarbonate ones.. They aren't cheap, but they're pretty near indestructible.

The only time I have a drinking problem is when I run out of booze.

Hi ..
I use the racks that are sold at most caravan spares places. I have these above the range hood & a few more inside the cupboards over the sink. Use them to hold wine glasses, tumblers & coffee cups. No breakages in transport over 14 years.
I use those wine glasses that they use for tasting at most wineries. Get them from Vinnies, Lifeline etc. from time to time at around $2 each. Robust and good shape for all wines .. white, red, sparkling & fortified or even fancy designer beer. Probably why the wineries use them.
cupie, how much wine do you get in that white one on the right hand side ?

It's not the quantity, its the bouquet that counts.

That's 'bouquet' as in "perfume of wine" .....
Don't bother with the florist .. try the local boozer.
