For $2.99 it is a great accompaniment to Camps (we have 5)
Had a look on WC earlier and there seem to be lots of camps around the area you are looking at Robyn.
I don't know the area so i can't recommend any in particuluar - maybe someone who lives in the area would be able to.

I suggest that you buy the book Camp 6 Australia Wide, the nomads bible, which contains over 3700 campsite listings.
It costs about $55 but is often on special at BCF, Rays Outdoors etc or online. You can also buy it as a download for your GPS
for $20 but I recommend the book for planning. It really is a must have and worth every cent.

Thanks Steve We already have it admittedly it version 5 & I guess I should do updates from the internet, as I used to do that in past but have been so busy lately & have suffered a couple of seniors moments. anyway once again thank you Robyn

I have Camps 5, it works well for me. I travel the east coast between Vic and Qld all the time. There is so much info in there. I check it each day to see where I will go next.

WE still have Camp 5. Only thing with buying camp 8 is that I would have to transfer all the written notations that we have accumulated over the years.
It is getting a bit tattered and showing it's age.
But we think we will stay with it as we have the wiki camp as a back up.Great investment, and would not leave home without it.

I only buy each second one - use Wikicamps as well, and check out this forum.
Some have downloaded Camps to their ipads or tablet, I think, and the GPS - I have enough trouble getting the GPS to take us where I want to go without putting any more complications on it!!!!
