While reading through that I put in the words blanked out and got a bit of a laugh out of it.
I do agree though.

To answer the message on the sign fairly and honestly, try reversing it and planting it around the Capital cities and see what happens!

there is no question in the sign
it is a straight forward statement
as some overseas countries state "drug dealears will be excecuted " etc
and this is how a lot of people speak in regard to illegal fishermen in private or at bbq etc

Hmmm The message is Clear and Justified, However ?? NO-ONE has The Right to speak to ANY-ONE in that Crude and Insulting nature. I would like to see the ''Backlash'' if any Goverment body tried to convey that message in such Crude Terminology ??

That's the truth of the matter Dazren, that sign could not exist in almost all of the country.

That's why I didn't blank them out in the email. I thought you needed a vocabulary lesson!

I agree with the sentiment, but not with the language. In my opinion a sign like that not only reflects badly on the people who wrote it, but also on the society that allows it.

Two buckets of taxpayers money involved there - both federal and State funding.
Sounds like professional outfits if large hauls are regularly are being taken.
Not saying it is happening there but in other areas where poaching of game eg deer is concerned and photographs/descriptions of the vehicles concerned have led to arrests, it was almost invariably locals. They knew the area, had the gear and knew how to avoid detection.
Doubtless there would be the opportunist tourist. But truckloads? What about refrigeration?
Either way, an insulting sign would have no effect and is intended more to intimidate ordinary travelers.
That's fair enough I reckon .
