Well have got rid of the real estate agent, and the prospective purchaser who has dicked me around for 6 mths so land locked for the present.
However having said that it is nearly time, only 4 more sleeps until I head off with my cousin and 4 teenage grandchildren on our motorhome adventure to the Red Centre. I am looking as this a a bit of a trial run to what will hopefully become a full time lifestyle in the near future. It could also cure me of my travel bug forever, although I don't think so.
We are all excited about what we will be doing and seeing, and spending time on the road. So if there are any GN's heading up the Stuart Highway next week towards the Rock or Kings Canyon and you see two old tarts out there with 4 teenagers in tow, stop and say hello or give us a wave. We will be the ones either laughing our heads off as we tend to do a lot of that or totally exhausted and asleep under a bush somewhere.
Happy travels all.
Sharon.

Yep - good luck with the teenagers - we are taking my four grandsons and their mum camping for two nights next week - think we will be exhausted by then - but where we are going there is no TV, mobile or computer coverage - so games may be on the menu!!!!

Yes I agree, good luck in the playground and don't let those teenagers boss you around too much, just remind them you are a recycled teenager and know better than them.

Good luck to you too Jules. I reckon it would be great to take the grandkids camping.

And their mum as well - the boys are 18, 14 and 13 (almost) - love fishing, swimming and are great fun to be with, and their mum needs a break - so we are heading off.
