Finally caught up with our friend in person after going around each other for so long.
Delighted to have made the effort to get of the 'red ' roads and brave a 'brown' one - sealed all the way into Baralaba from the main Rd 40 km north of Banana then 30 km in and out via Woonabinda (oops - went right in to the community and had to ask where to go to get out - but all OK) Lovely spot and good company. We both tried our hand at catching Yabbies - I did get a little fish! John is still trying. Very peaceful spot at the Neville Hewitt Weir.

Yes it was a good experience catching up with spida as always it is good meeting up with forum members but with the extra day still didn't catch anything in my trap.
Am now passing through Moura and finding the internet have stopped to post after a couple of days without reception.
