Goodonya Doug! It is a bit weird when you dont have a job to go to for the first time in a long time, but its amazing how you quickly become so busy you wonder how you ever had time to go to work! Sept 22nd is a great day, our house auction is on that day too!

Chrissy, I have planned the plan well so far me thinks. The next plan is not to plan, just do whatever I want when I want for the first time since probably a teenager.
Marj, I spoke to the husband of the team and he was good about it, I was very surprised with that actually, the wife is away for two weeks. There is going to be a big change with the company very soon anyway.
Bill, it is a big step but I feel better already and the next two weeks will go quickly as I will be very busy with work anyway.
I have been waiting 48 years for this, I started part time work when 12 in the local cinema.
To everyone else, thankyou for your positive comments and I hope to see you out there.

A very big congrats Doug, you will so not regret it I am guessing you had your appt with your financial man and everything is a go? Because you were going to do that before you handed your resignation in I thought.
So, so damn happy for you Doug now you can relax and live the life you have wanted to live out in the big playground and I for one hope we meet you out there one day Doug I think you and Ray would get along.

You just never know Beth, I am thinking of heading up to the Murray River before it gets too hot up there, I feel the heat as much as the cold these days.
I am just starting to check into Solar Power for my Avan Camper. Had no idea where to start and know nothing about it so checked out the search button but they are old posts so might put a call out for advice.

Dougwe, solar panels can go on the roof or stand alone on the ground and they supply power to keep your batteries topped up, this any help
