Saturday and got an early start to cover the 260kms taking me to Teresa Creek Dam Camps6 #426 only 3 hours driving at my speed but my eyes are making me stop and rest more than usual. Had a break at Belyando Crossing and kept on to the BP servo at Clermont where I had a shower and filled up the van. Arrived at Teresa Creek Dam in the early afternoon and booked in for 2 nights. It is beautiful here and could stay longer than 2 nights but I will move on to Emerald on Monday morning. This is a good place for families with plenty of room for ball games and a good playground, the dam is an attraction for those who like water skiing and most boating activities. Hot showers too. All this makes it a good venue for holidays as well as $10 per vehicle makes it good value as well.
Sunday and my eyes are feeling much better and I explored the park from end to end. Still no internet so it looks like an update from Emerald and having had 1 hour of internet over the past week will seriously consider moving back to travel the coast if this continues. John

Hope your eyes are better. Are there any FISH in the dam. I will remember the spot, and have a look later in the year. Bill

Great to see your post John, I was getting a little concerned. Glad your eyes are improving, hopefully it won't be too long before they are back to their twinkling best. Love the photos, if you slow down a bit, I might be able to catch up with you next week. Take care mate.
Cheers!

Bill, I saw people fishing in the dam but didn't see any caught, I put out a yabbie trap that Sheba had given me but got nothing. There are red claw and black claw in the dam but I didn't have the right bait.
Chris, I am in no hurry and may stay bere another night in Emerald with the following sites planned 328 Bedford Wier 323 Bridgewater Creek 322 Duaringa then if I can travel the road to Baralba from the Fitzroy Development Road I will stay at 445 Nevill Hewitt Wier. No idea how long at each that depends on how I like the site.
John
Ps. great to have internet on call
