This is mine, but am selling at the moment, has only done 33,000 since new, I have only done short runs within the state so far.
Not sure what the future holds at present in terms of RV travel.
I hope you are not unwell too Vic???

Yes we are ok Michelle, the usual health problems that many of us have at this age, but probably not wise to travel too far these days.
Have done plenty of RV kms' around the block over the years so not too worried about doing too much more.
It is a good set up Glenda, and with only 33,000 kms (and a 2011 conversion) is in excellent condition.
The vehicle belonged to the WA Health Department prior to my ownership and only had 21,000 on the clock when I bought it from a commercial yard about 14 months ago..
Ooops, sorry I missed a few earlier replies, thanks for your concerns, see above.....

Thanks Doug, no that one is mine (his), she still has hers, I think she wants to keep it a bit longer, I may go along with a tent, not enough room inside for two of us....

Cost them their deposit, but it wasn't all that much, so a minor consolation at least.

Keep trying Milo, takes a while sometimes, if it wasn't for needing the space I wouldn't have mine on consignment, you set a base price you want ( 3 month contract) and they stack their cream on top......however you have to keep your price down otherwise with their added cream it makes it too high to attract sellers......not the best way to go.
Here is what RAC WA has to say about consignment;
"Leaving your car with a licensed dealer on consignment is fraught with danger. You will still have title to the car (you still own it) but you will have little control over what is happening to it. The car can be taken anywhere and driven by anyone without your knowledge. If the vehicle is damaged or stolen, it is your problem as you are still responsible for anything that happens to it, including traffic infringements.
Another problem with leaving your car on consignment is that you will be depending on the dealer to tell you when it is sold, which may not be immediately. You also have no control over when you will be paid for the vehicle.
Some licensed dealers take out insurance with the Motor Trade Association to cover them when dealing with cars on consignment. We don't recommend that you sell your car on consignment unless you are sure that the dealer is covered by this insurance. "
There are some other tips here including selling privately and by auction. See;
