Has taken us five days to get this far. Weather has been cold and wet most days. No signal.
Had a meal at the Barmah pub last night and we will be in Echuca tomorrow. Spend a day there and start back. Slower as we will be against the current.

Sounds great Dawa, are you on the river? In a House Boat? I think I have missed a post somewhere.

yes i am on the river in a small house boat. a week so far from Tocumwal to Echuca.......down stream on a full river.
Soon heading back to Tocumwal but it will take at leasy twice as long to get back against the current.
This is a wonderful trip for me.....a once in a life time.

Took a cruise from Barmah Forest, Kingfisher I think, wonderful trip - the river was very full, and at one stage where we were floating - sailing??? - we were above the ground, in the water - amazing!!

The River Murray is looking good. From a South Aus'n perspective, let's keep it that way. Why does SA have to beg for water which should be shared as it runs to the sea?
