seeing as I have so many followers in regard to my travels...Tomorrow I head off to Tin Can Bay. Rainbow beach. and stay at Camping ground at the point I hear $5.50 per person per Night May stay a few days...Am able to use Gennie I'm told

You will like the campground at Inskip point. A lady comes around in her 4wd truck and sell papers and bread , etc, right where you camp, and its only about a few klms to Rainbow beach, though its a bit expensive. I hope to spend a few days there in October when I come down to see family.Its best if you book with the national parks on the way in.Hope to see some gns there. Bill

As Bill said, best to book on your way into Rainbow Beach. They're on the left hand side, can't miss it.
For shopping, best to go to either Woolies at Cooloola Cove or IGA at Tin Can Bay before going on to Rainbow.
If you're interested jimbo, you can feed the dolphins at Tin Can Bay.

It's actually classed as a Recreational Area and dogs are allowed at this one. My niece camped there last year with her dog.
I've seen several of those painted tanks so not sure of the location, but me thinks that's the shopping mall in Gympie to the left.
