Wednesday was spent going over Eungella National Park and doing the walks but the highlight was actually seeing platypus in the wild and even getting photos of them. We drove to Eungella Dam Camps6 #76 in the afternoon where we camped for the night. This is a spacious camp site and could never be filled, there are many grassy sites right along the dam. Good amenities are available and treated drinking water. All in all well worth the 20kms of good dirt roads and the $5 per person per night John

Was at the Pioneer show Grounds on Monday night - missed you again. Did you do the walk up to the waterfalls at Finch Hatton?

Thanks John. Your postings and photos give me a good indication of what I have to look forward to, hoefully not in the distant future.

No we were anxious to get Steven to a place for him to get a hitch.
I will be in one place for longer now and will be easier to track down am currently just above Townsville in Bluewater Park again, if you will be anywhere near just PM me and we will meet up.
On Monday morning I hope to meet up with Dougwe once again and Gypsy rover,
John

We visite Eungella a couple of years ago, it was scary towing the van up the mountain in thick fog and wet slippery roads. The fog did not lift for the 3 days and rain did not stop so it is great to actually see how beautiful
the area through your photos yeoeleven.

They have stopped the search for the guy who went missing. Over 80 people searched for 10 days, with no trace found.
So sad for his Family, but they can't just keep looking for-ever.
Take care when you go Bushwalking Folks. It's so easy for things to go wrong.
