Well as the title said I just realised tonight that this year is a rather auspicious year for me . . . . you see my birthday is on the 12th day of December so that is 12.12. and this year it is 2012 of course so my birthday is on 12.12.12 I am guessing that this can only happen once in a persons lifetime???? Anyone know if that is the case? So this is the damn year I win Lotto. . . .surely!!

Good morning Michelle, yeah that unusual 12-12-12, and I think Hubby should get you 12 red roses to celebrate that milestone, ? Next year my birthday will be 31-1-13 that's about as close as i can get to your milestone, I am Going to say *** Happy Birthday NOW *** so that when the big day comes, i can say i forgot , and won't have to buy a present LoL
By the way ?? do not expect a response from Dougwe or wombat on this topic, ???? If you are going to use big words like '' AUSPICIOUS'' this early on a Sunday morning ?? the only response they could come up with would be
Well i have got to get back to [bl--dy ] house packing now, enjoy your day, Daz
OOPS ! I see Dougwe has already posted ??? he must have been up all night ! googling ''auspicious'' ------ Good Morning to you to Mate ?

I think I might go back to being NOT nice again. This being nice is not working here or at work "On The Buses". The boss keeps loading me up with work and the other two drivers who by the way keep getting all the complaints about their attitude and driving keep getting less work and for some reason treated better by the boss. I don't want the extra work, they are younger and I am supposed to be semi retired but seem to work longer hours than when at work full time.
So, starting NOW I am not nice, right.
Bad luck if it's not.
Oh yeh, I have deliberately gone OFF topic. Cos that's not nice

Jon you share a person close to my heart and that is my Dad. He reckons I was his birthday present back in 1956 and one that does not seem to wear out
So still a special day for you as well in my opinion

In my posts Doug it is very okay to go off topic always. I hope you are going to continue being nice because it is lovely when you are. Also seriously have you asked your boss why he is working you so hard Doug? Perhaps you need to remind him that you ARE semi-retired and that you didn't expect to be working this hard as a semi-retired bloke.
Stay nice and also stay warm!!!

Doug, your problem is that we come from a generation that is good at what we do, [whatever it is ?? ] Next time your having a chat to the boss, maybe time to remind him that your Semi-Retired ?? and ask if he he trying to Tire you out ?? so that you will have to Fully Retire. if you are the ever reliable, trouble free driver, he is probaly useing that to his advantage ?? and has completely forgotten about your Semi- Retirement ?? Because you get the job done, Quickly, Effeciently, and Politely, which makes his job easier ?? Some times a reminder is all it takes ??
good luck for a good outcome Daryl,
PS. What do you mean '' Going back ? to not nice ?'' you never changed ! you only tricked Michelle when she was cold and not thinking straight and one other little point that may make your life easier ?? I heard you boss is nicer to the other drivers, because when they see a wombat on the road, they swerve towards it ?? and you have been swerving to avoid it, so maybe you better re-think your priority's

I have twin sisters who celebrated their 38th birthday last year on the 11/11/11. 38 years old - 3+8=11. Naturally we had a massive party to celebrate.
Another sister of mine has decided to get married in fiji on 12/12/12 - maybe she chose that date so there's no excuse for her future hubby to forget their anniversary
