You might also like to try the Tin Can Bay Country Club, particularly on a Friday night. Great meals, and raffles for the local Coastguard.
I've been there quite a bit because my sister lives just down the road.

Played Bowls in Mapleton Qld to day.... Social of course 20 players (Bankers) Won a $30 voucher to spend at the local IGA or fuel Triples...Heading off to Maleny tomorrow to the camping grounds and stay awhile have met some nice old Mates who have offered me a place to stay I declined as I like to be independent Gosh! Diesel is expensive here...Heard some bad reports about Bowen Qld If true what a disgusting place sounds more like a German WWII gestapo rangers roam around moving people on

Shorts and tee shirt was all I had on It was about 21 cels cold at night But who cares.......Am at maleny at this moment (Showgrounds) What a spot will stay here for a couple of days then Kenilworth showgrounds more bowls
My New Bike is a Blessing.....Travelled in and around Maleny Qld Today.Heaps of tourists Haven't met a Grey Nomad yet ...Plenty of other travellers though...
