I cheer for the Aussies, but if they're not there, I think the kiwis are worth whistle too.
Feeling sorry for the poor old poms though.

For some reason I can't get into it this year. I usually stay glued to the TV during Olympic and Commonwealth games. I've tried this time but even when it is on that channel I go back to doing something else and don't follow whats happening. Maybe its not as exciting as past years, not sure. Maybe I'm Just not into them anymore.

I'm finding the races hard to follow sometimes, especially when the camera work is so dodgy. last night we were watching the rowing, and there was a ding dong battle going for silver and bronze, with the poms way out in front taking gold..... and where was the camera? Yep, watching the pommy team row by themselves!

if i had the money id get foxtel but i cant afford it, channel 9s adds are killing the coverage and some one always standing there at the begining, just go to bloody event and you just start getting into an event and they go to something else and its usually only a few events they show, not some of the others and is any one on radio covering it? would have thought at least abc for those with out tv......
but i will always support our aussies!!

It makes me angry to think that some of the money, millions, spent on the Illegals, could have been put to better use for quality trainers in most sports and towards our younger generation of athletes. Look what the Chinese are doing and paying coaches. Some are ours.

Quality trainers hey Dick? According to Stephanie Rice in a TV interview, "We are all doing the best we can." And that's all they can do - quality trainers or not.
