Hmmm I will give you the benefit of the doubt on that one Daryl As to the new van we are still getting things done and not to change the subject but man am I sick of spending money or what!!! We just paid 500 to get the electric brake switch put into the Ford, then have the cb radio fitted 130 for antenna and 130 for fitting the radio etc. Now Ray was the sway bars which will be another 800. We have yet to purchase the solar panels and the satellite dish. It seems to be just spending money lately. We cannot even take the van out for a drive as the brake thingy just got fitted yesterday. Also we think the tow bar that was on the vehicle when we bought it is not a heavy duty one so we may be up for another 700 to have that bloo*y fitted
When we actually get to take it out I will surely post pics with the Ford pulling the van or when they are both hooked up but it is going sooooooo slowly. I am in total love with the Ford the gearbox is so sweet, so easy to use. I am also in total love with our new van lol but having mum here is putting a damper on everything and we have her here for another 5 damn weeks lol
That is why I have been so quiet as mum complains that I spend too much time on my computer. God I am 55yrs old and she is still treating me like a darn kid
Ok I have whinged enough now. Calm blue ocean breathe in breathe out hehehehe

WOW, have I got some replies to catch up with, oh well here goes
dazren, please tell me you got Win 7 on your pooter and not Win 8, I don't think BG had anything to do with your gremiins, us women have to stick together mate
Dougwe, I thought we had to get permission from you to go into your room
dazren, I would trust ANY wombat and BG is too busy getting the van ready, all that expense, but once she have all the right gear she will be happy on the road, I would like to suggest the she takes her mum with her on her first trip
BG, I would not give the benifit of doubt to dazren, he changes with the weather, the most important bits are the solar panels and sat dish setup, you may be 55 years old but you still take notice of your mum!!!!!!!!! it will all come together with the van and preparation is the best way to go, then you will not have any problems along the way.

BG, sorry to hear about the ''set-up'' hassles, it can get expensive, especially if you have to start from scratch, and get the tug and the van at the same time ?? We have our ''Dream'' OF The New Tug, and the new Van, and then realise that we need all this other stuff, to join them together, and to make them safe and comfortable. But when you are Up and Running,
You will be very glad you ''put in the hard yards''
As for Wombat saying Not to give me the Benefit of the Doubt ???? would you prefer to listen to a Kind, Compassionate,Caring, Helpful, Type of person like myself OR A Little Furry Overweight Marsupial, that will lead you up the garden path ???
OK time to get off this computor and start some more packing, getting ready to shift is a '' PAIN''

Yes I know that it is like a money pit at the moment and I guess one small win was that our towbar was heavy duty after all but it took some looking from the guy at Ford to find it imprinted on the towbar hehe. So that saves us $700 at least. I guess I am ticked off because we have this thing of beauty looking at us and we cannot take it out until Mum goes home the first week in Sept which feels like years away lol. All I want to do is take it out and play in it
Hmm should I trust a kind considerate bloke or a wombat? I am not sure as it seems that the kind considerate bloke might have a split personality which turns on one occasionally
