Kieth's mention of his SWMBO reminded me of some of the interesting terms we have for our nearest and dearest.
My partner refers to me as his SO= Significant Other....and I think that could be translated as Senior Officer.
What do you call yours? (Reminder: the forum software censors swearwords!)

Mr. Pricey answers to many things, depending on my mood. Usually on the forum I refer to him as M.O.T.H - Man Of The House.

I don't have a spouse, but I refer to my 2nd ex as 'the psycopath'. The first ex and I are on good terms so I just use his name, Warwick, and our d-i-l calls him Wazza.
My son-i-l calls me the dragon, which I don't mind because he needs a dragon to keep an eye on him!
My kids affectionatly call me Ma.

Hi Beth,
I call my ex the D*ckhead lol even though it has been over 25 years lol. The only good thing to come from that marriage was my eldest daughter.
My girls call me Ma as well and the rest of my family including hubby most of the time when he is not being cheeky call me Shell or Shelley lol.

My daughter calls her son's father D*ckhead too! I get a little annoyed actually, cos her present husband could be called that too.

Mind you though I never degraded him in front of Courtney even though she was only 3 at the time. He had no contact with her so no great loss and Ray has been a real father to her anyway and he gave her away at her wedding. Courtney calls the other the sperm donor and that is what he was nothing else to her.
Some girls make the same mistakes over and over again until one day they realise it and then they either stay single or choose wisely the next time with someone that she can spend her whole life with not parts of it.

Hey Beth I wasn't suggesting your girl did sorry if you thought that, it wasn't my intention.
All we as mother's can do is be there for our daughters because their generation don't realise how much they depend on us baby boomer generation. Both my daughters lean and depend on me so much that is why we are hoping to take our trip so we can finally be on our own lol.
